Master Kallem Spiritsong
Following Grand Master Timeons departure from the Guild in 1108 having secretly absconded on a voyage of self discovery whilst abroad a vessel travelling between guild houses, Kallem Spiritsong presented himself to the Alchemist Guild at the Moot 2 of the same year with a note of introduction from the absent Guild Master, outlining that he was to help the guild out in any way that he could whilst Timeon was gone.

Not much is commonly known about Kallems past, however it is clear that having studied closely under Timeon for many years at his private research facility Stormcrow, deep within the Northern Waste in Wolves Land, he was an obvious choice to support the laboratory operations and soon established himself as an effective and capable Master of the Labs, bringing a subtle blend of skill and threats of pains of death for anyone who messed up his laboratories.

After the tragic death of Grand Master Admiral Thorn Ashcrow at the Gathering of Nations of the same year at the hands of agents of Sirathol and under the guidance of Grand Master QuiGon DeBeer, Kallem or Kal as the Guild had come to refer to him, took over the responsibility of matters of Guild Lore Knowledge and Diplomacy entrusting his beloved laboratories to Reck .

Whilst not immediately a obvious candidate for the role, and following some faltering starts, Kal slowly began to develop a flare for the art, assisting in many negotiations including the unified Guild Charter of 1108 along with the re-establishment of a Gathering Treaty of the same year
It was during these negotiations that Kal, unbeknown to himself, met his wife to be, Driftwood of the Mages Guild.

Both Driftwood and Kal shared a common a business like drive to achieve similar goals and this frequently involved them adopting similar negotiating positions within the bar……

The insight of both Grand Master QuiGon and Grand Master Reck and the cunning of Master Nighshade eventually saw Driftwood and Kal presented to each other for marriage under Guild Law at Moot 1 in 1109, much,  initially, to both their surprise.

Since then Kal and Drift have formed inseparable bonds and are frequently seen working together to further Guild liaison within the Factions for both the Mages and the Alchemists.
